Yorkshire League for Clubs teams of 8

The Yorkshire League competition is held between Clubs with teams of eight competing across a number of Divisions, with each Division consisting of eight teams. The Season consists of 7 matches of 32 boards which are played on a home or away club basis.

2025-26 Season

The match days for the 2025-26 Season have been decided and posted in the Events Calendar. They are 19th October, 2nd November, 23rd November, 7th December, 15th February, 8th March and 29th March. Make a note in your diaries now!

A new scale for conversion from imps to VPs was introduced for the 2021-22 season, but we have learned of at least one case of a team mistakenly using the old scale leading to an incorrect match result in VPs.    Probably a good idea to collect up and throw away any old scoresheets from the club stationery cupboard and you can replace them with the new version  available to download and print off using the Important Links panel on the right hand side of the Yorkshire League Clubs Teams of 8 home page.
